These are pics from a level in my new campaign, Decasear Isle, adn I was wondering what terrainers in the community though of it. It is al fully walkabvle as well as the goblin hut pic. It will be a campaign like the tft orc 1 and will have a first person, third person, and customizable camera angles ingame. If you have some suggestion on it plz tell me and if you want to join my team if your a modeler or skinner plz tell me. |

scaled up buildings are good. but those are a little too big. you can see from the pic, that one rung of the ladder is the legnth of a trolls entire leg. aslo, wehn scaling up, add more detail. such as walkways made from wooden bridges, add some cliff vines. anything to destract the veiwer from the lack of detail you get when things get that large. have a little more life in the pic. somehting in the background, a small fleet of ships, or possably a tiny island on the edge of the map. it dosnt have to be walkable, just a little eye candy if its going to be 1st person veiw. it needs work, but its a nice terrain to start with |

I like the concept alot. But I agree with gitlich one needing something in the ocean. I'd put more doodads around the village too. Try throwing some bushes or tall grasses(maybe cattails?) around the huts and towers. THe more there is to look at the better (as long as it isnt cluttered) |

makeing beaches look god is tough. on one hand you could make the place full of doodads, and it will look good, like somekind of secluded island lagoon. however, it wont look like most beaches. to make that you have to have almost no doodads, and a lot of time sculpting the terrain. makeing the sand dunes perfect, getting the angle just right. i would prefer to see the second one. not enough terrain today make effective use of few doodads (i know all of mine dont :\ )i would hazard a guess at ashenvale vines to make coral under the water, but there are probalby more out there. |

OK i added about 1200 doodads and now it look a little like a jungle but thats more realistic since there is a jungle right behind it any way. |

Icecrown ice tiles also look good for underwater scenes. It looks like the sunlight reflecting off the waves. Doesn't work for ingame though. Screenshots only. |

Pretty good, just try to add more depth, detail, and other stuff and it'll be perfect. |
