I am working on a project, which you can read my profile for details. I will be posting all the systems I have finished or nearly finished in this thread to get some feedback/suggestions/flames/whatever on it. Here's my Item System that I've developed for it. (I've triggered in only 2 items!) Note: Damage is trigger based, and trigger based for a reason, do not reply with a post relating to it's trigger-basednessness... And No, I didn't trigger in damage yet. How to work it... Press "R" (Open Inventory ability) and make sure the camera is still locked, if not, center on your unit. Now, go over the Weapons Icon (The Red Maul) and click there. It should open that inventory and show what items you have equipped and not equipped. Everything should be common sense from there, if not well then you're sad. Last Note: Some features will not be implemented until the map is completed for efficient reasons. --Odd, I'll wait 'til tomorrow, not allowing me to upload at the moment. |

I've been trying for a few days now to upload the map... It doesn't work. Well, uploading the map I want to show isn't uploading. I get white page of Page Cannot Be Displayed error when I hit upload. When I try uploading anything else, it works just fine. 'tis odd |

There is a bug with attachments that the server fails with too big files. Try cutting down the size or devide the file with zip / rar |

Will do, thx Lord Vexorian. Bah, still too big, lol. I'll add the stupid system in a smaller map later. Must go out. |

specifically, how does it operate? multiboard - dialogs - item slot interface? |

Uhmmm, let me post a screenshot, it's a mix of item slots + user-made buttons. |

How did you get those icons to be displayed there and be able to be selected and stuff? |

Please post the system, btw how big is the map? |

They can't be selected you cast a modified version of shockwave on them. The system isn't very intuitive now that I remember it months ago. |

Is he talking about the same system? cause the screenshot seems weird |

He seems confused, he talked about something very different! |

While this is the imcomplete edition and his may be farther along, why don't you guys check out DT4a if your looking for your RPG engine as the system is currently very annoying. |

no offence weaaddar... but you seem to over emphasise on your system quite often, then put down others in development... i like your systems and all, no offence or anything. about the map... interesting how you set out the icons... how do you operate it? how did you set it out? |

Download the demo map, its pretty simple he changed the graphic overlay and then when you fire shockwave and the camera is locked he checks to see if the custom shockwave is inside those 5 or 6 buttons. I think I'm allowed to say that I don't like somebody elses system, and I perfer my own, while thats generally assumed, if you were to look at code you would also that MG also blatently copied methods (atleast in an even earlier versions there was a SortVI, NextPage and other annoying methods I wrote). I think his system adds too many complications for what it does. |

Yeah, I begin to understand weaaddar a bit... He got an ego, but that's something you're going to have to live with. Anyways, yeah, that version is very old and he got that from Dakan. The finished version is much more polished now, I am just adding some user-friendly features at the moment, and then I'll import the system into a smaller map. |
