"A regular old hitpoint system is kind of bland," I thought to myself one day. "Why not do something to spice it up?" And lo, I have. Behold, the Realistic Injuries system, in all its bloody glory! Features: - Units now bleed based on how much damage they have suffered. The more damage, the more gore! - A buff appears on injured units, telling you why they're bleeding. - Units who are injured become slowed in attack and movement; heavily injured units struggle to reach the fountain, or to retaliate in combat. The worst stages of wounds affect mana regeneration. - The Undead bleed black! Known Issues: - Everything bleeds, including Golems; this makes little sense, and could be fixed if I really cared. Mechanical units, if they existed in this map, would bleed also. There's also a screenshot, for those of you too lazy to download without one. Rejoice, and let your combats be bloody! |

Good idea. Not anything hard or special, but it is a damn good idea! |

as with a few threads above "the hoarfrost spell thread" this is a very fun thing to add to a map, but very simple and easy Good idea i think you could expand off of it, and make more penalties and more event/condition/actions off of the damage to a unit |

Yeah, I had a few other ideas in mind. Damage reductions, maybe. Heroes might lose some stats permanently if they're heavily injured. Maybe a chance that the unit loses regeneration; a permanent injury, if you will, and then can only be restored by magic. There's loads that could be done with this. |

Heh, this could be useful, as a booster in my fps campaign, all i need is like a shot to any major organ part kinda thing, such as shot in head or heart and they die instantly. |
