I have heard that waits cause lag (as opposed to using timers)? Is this true? If so how come? I could imagine that keeping the trigger in memory for a few seconds could use a bit more ram, but that's it. So why? |

I don't know who did you heard that from, but waits dont cause lags. Actualy ,(i think) they do the opositive thing. Cuz aften it lags when: you have too many units or the trigger is doing too many thing at one time, but the waits wont let the triggers do too many thing at one time. |

waits have a minimal wait time like .25 seconds. you want to use timers if you want to wait a duration under that. |

I don't know, maby they have bad comps or.... well no idea. But I havn't seen any lags from waits. (in that I mean that my every frend that has wc3 didnt have any lags becouse of waits) Edit: and btw I have about 100 waits in my map and i don't have any lags :\ |
