How do you make custom stairs or ramps walkable?

Like if I build some stairs with a bunch of tables or a ramp with one of the collums is there a way to make it, so that the unit can walk up the stairs, or across the ramp?

Sincerely,

Strom

set pathing texture to foot swich or circle of power, that should work. put pathing blockers on the sides or the units will wonder off the paltform in the middle and jump down. hope this helps :>

Or an easier way is to make a new doodad with elevator 2 and just change the modell :D

I could be mistaking (pretty large chance) but wasn't there an option to put on like something like "Walkable" that you could put on or off?

actulaly there is that option, however it does nothing :\

to bladeofwar it would make no difference, maybe it would add more to do, elavators have diff heights, which are controlled by triggers, meaning you still have to put elavator walls or pathing blockers to keep units from going off the ramp. personaly i think my way is a little easyer and might keep you from getting into trouble destructibles tend to have :D

well, i do make lots of elevators and make it look like stairs... but i think just having to make a new doodad and change the modelfile is alittle easier ;)

Does it have to be a destructible in order to walk on it, cause I've treid Elevator and Footswitch and Circle of Power textur paths, to some stairs I made out of piers, and my guy just keeps walking threw them, never on top, just straight threw?

The peir is a prop right now.

Sincerely,

Strom

I know its more difficlut to place but i prefer using invisible platforms raised to the right high + pathing blockers because so you can just make everything walkable whatever form it has :D
but thats a matter of taste ... creating a costum foot switch and changing the model is easier to newbs i guess ... still i doubt a bit that it will match most modell forms automaticly ...
