Very nice work...

that helm looks a tad small...

the belt isn't centered...

and the right hand looks kinda odd...

but other than that, good job.

All answers at the quote. I just think there are worst things on the drawing than those you said.

I like the facial expression. I think the chest seems a little too low down the torso, move it up a little and it will look less like boobs. The main problem is with the stance, the legs are at the streched out and standing upright normaly, do a quick addition of feet and youll see the problems. Like icbm said, the helmet looks too small both vertically and horizontally, its the same size as his left hand. The hand holding the helm is at 90° and that isnt really possible at the waist. Is the sketch at the bottom a view from behind? Keep it up.

This is bad, 55 views and only 3 replies... I really appreciate the current criticism, but just two people replied...

I thought people would be "Wow, finally Lord posted another drawing"...

Funny to remember the old times that I was "the best drawer" here... many people that browse this forum now weren't even here at those.

Times change buddy, get over yourself. Its not because your less active that they have perhaps changed their minds, but dont go around asking for that kind of lame comment. But Im sure someone will feel sorry and type that for you :P

I remember when you first arrived, you were the best artist here. You came with a huge influx of art and you were recognized as the best artist here. As you said, many of those that surf the concept art forums arrived after your fame. Maybe you should create a gallery with your old and new artwork, so that people here remember you as an excellent artist and not as an uptight mod.

{on topic}
Overall, the drawing looks quite acurate anatomically (to my untrained eye). The only problems I can see are the helmet(already stated) and the nose. The nose seems to be a bit elongated, or maybe it just reaches too far across the cheek. I'm not quite sure. Anyway, gj! :D

You guys never bothered to check his gallery when it was here... There was some good stuff in there.

It seems that everything not on the first page of the gallery got deleted... and we had about 3 pages of galleries.

You do make great evil looking Sauron/Melkor type helmets though.

Tis a sad time when people view and don't give input... tis a sad time.

Wow, finally Lord posted another drawing =p

Well, good things are obvious (great drawing :D ) so ill just point things that could use some changes imo

1. Sword's angle - it's really weird. Like he stabbed his shoulder. That's my impression, probably because of lack of any signs that sword is hangin on his back (little cuts at the end of edge are flat, like seen from side)
2. His position is kinda... uncomfortable? By looking at his legs i can see its very difficult for him to stand (maybe that's why he has such face expression ;))
3. His hips are very thin, when shoulders are like 3x broader Oo Also his arms are of the same size like his legs...

Boy, this is starting to feel pressuring. A while back it was "if you can't say anything constructive and helpful, please don't post." Now, it's "why isn't anyone posting!"

More seriously, though, I suppose the one thing that gets me about this drawing is Therranor's left hand (his left) - it seems a little short along the forearm, there's no wrist. Other than that, superb quality and glad to have more excellent drawing pouring in to the forums.

Pressuring? I'm not forcing people to post, neither did I ever say "if you can't say anything constructive and helpful, please don't post.".

And Maverick, some times I preffer to not have to read most of your posts (lastest post of yours, for example).

Besides of that, thanks for all that gave me feedback. My real objective on that comment was to see if anybody still remembers the old times, when I used to work on Wrath of the Trolls, Legion of Terror (both are dead long time ago) and after those, Hunted Campaign. Then I got moderator of this forum, and after, super moderator (when that position existed). Then moderator again, then, well, respected member. But between that period, a LOT of good artists came, until it came to what is today, a forum visited by such great artists. But note: there were great artists before I arrived too, like Studio Rain and Samsuffy (some of you might not know him).

And also, you guys are WAY more perfectionists than before. When I see my old drawings now, I almost spit on them, but I remember you used to give almost no criticism (some were like "you rock!!!"). Now that my drawings have a whole better anatomy, and I'm better at stances, you guys seem to be bringing up every single flaw of them! That's very ironic, but I appreciate that.

I think I said that... or might have.

Yeah... it always helps to hear what flaws other people see in a drawing... and it seems as if I came too late... I would have loved to see all that stuff you did before you became a mod. There aren't many "old timers" left... Most of the frequenters of this forum joined later then I did.

We hope to see more of your work sir.

yeah, it seems i either missed your more prolific period or was not active at that time. Looks good, i wont just repeat other comments.

only question, are you by chance left handed? because the picture looks a little muddy, as if you dragged your hand across the page as you worked. Usually that happens a little bit more with left handed ppl for some reason. still, it looks good, i really like your detail work

No, I'm not. Thanks for the compliment.
