Ok so not really a tool as such but anyway. Ok this is for anyone like me who got kind of lost when trying to edit the Engineering Upgrade ability in WE as all the upgraded versions of his other abilities had the same name. From viewing the AbilityData.slk file I have made a modified "NeutralAbilityStrings.txt" file which has Editor suffixes for each upgrade of the Tinker's other abilities and it helps a lot. As an example: Cluster Rockets (Level 0) is the normal, un-altered CR spell whereas... Cluster Rockets (Level 1) is Cluster Rockets with Level one Engineering upgrade, Cluster Rockets (Level 2) is with Level two Engineering upgrade etc. Anyway, hope it helps :) Put the file in the Units\ folder of your WC3 directory. As this is just for helping with the WE you don't need to import it as it has no in-game effects. |
