I need someone really good with multiplayer triggers to help me debug my tankwars game. It dyncs and wierd stuff happens when I try to play it online, but it plays perfectly offline. If you're interested, respond here :). If you help me I'll put your name on the map along with mine. |

happens on map load, everyone drops. I take out some triggers and no one can move. |

Desyncs are caused by you importing a file into the map that WC3 doesn't want imported (Like War3Patch.mpq or an SLK file.) I'm afraid that the only way to fix this is to not import the file. this will be fixed in 1.04 (I hope) when Blizzard makes the Precacheing system load the map AFTER the patch.mpq, allowing you to put nearly any file directly in the map. until the patch though, your fugged! I was working on this world war 3 map, and it does appear that triggers CAN desync, and even CRASH warcraft 3 (and no, NOT custom text) Also i think that if an action is somehow "too long" it crashes war3... |

A couple things off fear factor: 1. Yes, triggers CAN desync, and they CAN crash. Sending transmisions to one player in 1.02 resulted in a desync, not sure if it still does. 2. I've seen triggers with over 40 actions, so I doubt that results in a crash. |
