icbm if you import it in the we and put it on the map press crtl and the little apple and dragclick that way you can fly around and more or less zoom in with the ctrl dragclick. I can't really say I like or dislike the skin, except that the belt looks strange indeed buts probably the way it wraps. I hope my we tip helps. |

Thanks Final... yeah... It seems as If I was going for a "Sandy" lich... and then started trying to make him a half-samurai too... and thanks for the tip Jerre. Now... I think I should keep working on this... The wrapping on the Headdress thing is really weird... lots of stretching... didn't really get that crown affect. The elbow is taken from the belt... And that little sparkly thing in the corner is the eye texture... huh... interesting. I did CnP the belt from the Blademaster... would have been much better If I hadn't... I guess the whole "skirt armor" idea doesn't really work for this guy because of the stretching. Well... time to play WC3... then I should get back to the skin. icbm1987 |

wooh B, ur third level rep... congrats ^^ thats a nice skin for a first one... it is. final is right about the skirt thing though... what i always do, is scetch it on the tga and then import it, to check if all the lines i am planning would work with the wrapping, and then i start touching up and detailing and stuff... believe it or not, getting the shit right whith the wrapping usually takes up a bit more time then the actual skinning... especially if you wanna go for something diffrent. the pandas wrapping for example is a NIGHTMARE! goodamn... good to see you skinning anyway, its fun isnt it? ^^ why cant you use vieuwer btw? isnt there a mac vieuwer or something? |

Skinning is quite fun. And the lich is a great skin to start on... it's easy to tell where everything goes. I'll see if I can find a viewer... but I haven't been able to so far. That sketching idea sounds pretty good... icbm1987 |

yeah skinning is fun... i wish for more time behind the good pc >.< and meh.. i dont think i'll ever skin a lich... the problem with the lich is that i dont really see any good options for change.. however you skin him, he's still a fuggin' lich... and i hate liches... >''< and yeah to me the scetching is vital to success... it would such if i where to make a whole piece, then fieuw it and find out the wrapping totally fucks it up >.< |
