A few questions about animations.
1. The ability critical strike, is the animation 'attack slam' programmed into it? It has nothing in the art - animation names of the ability editor.
2. How many animations that wouldn't be used in standing, walking, attacking, dieing are there? This is important because i'm planning on a unit with a different animation for each ability. Here are the ones im aware of : Slam, Spell, Throw, Channel.
3. Is there a way to add new animations to a unit/model using a program like 3dsmax?

I believe so. Critical Strike seems to be hard coded into the Blademaster's animation; the same goes for Bladestorm.

I think you've listed most of them; some other ones include: Stand Victory, Spell, Stand Ready, etc. Acutally, take a look at the Peon :8 Blizzard did a lot of animations with the Peon.

I have no idea how to use 3dsmax nor do I have it.

Well thats 1 and 2 answered... The third question wasn't asking if 3dsmax could make animations to import, i know it can. I was curious if you could make new animation tags for a custom model. Anyone know if it can be done?

First post on wc3campaigns and i have a question, hope this is a good spot to post it:
Regard Animations, how would i make a unit[Mountian King] attack repeatedly?
It is a Neutral Hero, based off of the MK, the name is the only thing i changed.

Try this:
Events:
Periodic Event - Every 1.25 seconds

Conditions :

Actions:
Animation - Play *Custom MK's* attack animation

Keep in mind this only makes the MK look like he's attacking; he doesn't do any dmg.
