1)People do have WoW beta 2)It probably does but i doubt they would let it be opened by anyone besides blizzard 3)The WoW models would be really highpoly and its illeagle to take them I believe' 4) You can't have a copy, its illeagle and the WoW models are only for WoW and may not work in Wc3 I don't know that much about the subject, so if i am wrong somone else can correct me. Wrong form too. |

i think you can extract models from WoW and put them into WC3, i saw a raptor that i think was extracted from Wow, and a handful of other models, such as a trogg. i think for the most part you can get away with exracting one or 2 models, but putting the whole mpq file up for DL, and on top of that, putting it up with the intent of others extracting the modles would probably get you in a whole load of shit with blizzard. like law suit shit |

Well, this is the wrong forum. And it would be illegal for you to acquire a copy of the WoW beta MoPaQ archive, just wait until open beta. The WoW models are .mdx2 and the image files are .blp2, you might have luck getting some of these if you go to samods.org, as one of the members has a .mdx2 -> .obj converter and has been using models for his "Counterstrike at Quel'Thalas" campaign. |
