looks good. but needs fog, expecialy in those desert pics. a nice mix of tiles, unfortunately the only sand tile is slightly green , add some yellow/orange for and it should decrease the contrast between tiles.
the first forest pics look good, mostly more of the same is needed for an rpg, you could try adding some bushed opn the patch of grassy dirt next to the river, and putting more bushes shrubs or rocks round the base of those trees, especialy the elveswood ones as theyve got a square base. you could add a little dirt as well, that forest seems too green, (maby a few more rocks).
for the forest pics with the world tree in, you could add some normal sized trees around the roots, massive trees look good, but better if theyve got more trees around them, like in the last mission on RoC. hope this helps

Nice. But as Gitlich said, it needs more fog, as for the open plains/barrens screens, try to variate the tiles abit and add some more enviromental doodads, and scale up the trees if you want to have it more realistic.
Also lower the trees, they usually float above the ground.

Looks great, except add what glitch and vagabond said, this is a RPG right? so i am guessing its 1 player, the camera angles that you have are weird, you won't see the game like that while playing the game, unless you make a 3rd person camera which would be good.

The tile choice isn't all that great. The barrens rock tile doesn't fit in well with the other tiles you have. It's like, you have all this greenery, and then bam you walk into a dried up rocky area. It just doesn't flow well. I'm not sure what tile you could change it into, but experiment with tiles that fit your color scheme more.

Mmm, my impression was that his RPG would take place in different locations, far away from eachother.

Thanks for all of the feedback guys - I'll work on the changes (I agree with all of them :8 ). It's actually going to be a battlenet map, a RPG with saving heros and first person cam. It features 4 different areas, The wooded area, the Desert/Savannah, the swamp (with rotted world trees), and a yet to be terrained undead area. I'm trying to blend the areas together seemlessly and your right Beam it's not easy. I'll work a bit more on tile changes and doodad additions/fixes. Doh I forgot fog in all pics what was i thinking. Anyway more pics soon.

Erm, its going to be battle.net, your going to have a major issue with lag The custom tree models, and the millions of doodads, I think it would be best to make it single player, because the terrain is good and it would be a shame to have to delete doodads to make it playable.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... b.net + custom models = LAG
Make it singleplayer pleaaaseee, would be much better!
By the way the new pic is great! Keep it up!

2 Shots of a human encampment (yes I know the century towers make it appear orcish but it's not!).

Really, really beautiful... cant say anything else.
Custom models dont couse lag btw, but they make the map huge... so you must be carful. On the other hand, many doodads, and especially destructibles couse lag...
Especially if they are put in a small area... (many units too, of course)
