Death animation bug & Search for an iconless solution

1. In the map I am currently developing, something wierd happened with 1.15: my summoned units don't play their death animation any more. Instead, when the brief time they were granted to thrive in my world is up, they just vanish, without being given that one last chance to have a nice death scene; they don't even get a puff of smoke, nothing, just one moment they are there, and the next it's all empty terrain. I mean, even the lowliest skeleton should be allowed to take a few seconds to fall apart...

2. I am looking for an iconless way to detect invisible units. As you all know, the various "true sight" abilities all proudly display their presence with a big fat icon in the command card. I tried with the ability the sentry ward has, but it uses an icon as well, the only reason we don't see it on a sentry ward is, well, because it's a ward. Unfortunately for me, my next option was the ability that the Gem of True Seeing uses, but it turned out to be the same as that of the sentry ward. My last hope was an unused ability, the "Burrow detection (fliers)", because apparently fliers were originally ment to see burrowed units, but as I tried it, while it didn't have an icon, it at the same time didn't work.

So I am now out of ideas. Well, I do have some ideas, but they all include additional dummy units with true sight that are moved to the location of my unit with a fast periodic trigger (maybe twice every second) and that are stored in big unit variable arrays to keep track of them. So, if anyone knows a better solution, please let me know.

Anitar, I think some of the Summon spells, like Feral Spirit or Doom, for example, automatically remove the unit they summoned and play a little poofy animation when the unit dies.

You could probably overwrite this by replacing the summoned unit with one of the same, and add the expiration timer with a trigger. Not entirely sure, though.

As far as detecting invisible, your solution is the only way I can think of, offhand. I don't know of any other invisible-detection abilities.

Well, as I said, this started now, with 1.15, before that it worked fine. The skeleton-summoning spells were based on water elemental and the book of the dead ability, so the skeletons played their death animation upon, well, death. The other summon, based on Storm,Earth&Fire displayed the poofy effect you speak of. But now, with patch 1.15, nothing happens, not the skeleton death animation, not the Feral-spirit-style-dissapear effect. The summoned units dissapear without any effect whatsoever. When they die, they are gone that instant.

Edit: After another quick check, I discovered that one summon, based on venegeance, works correctly and displays the puffy effect. It is the only one, all other are bugged...
