Just download TToR 3.21 which is the newest version you get. Get it at http://race.wc3campaigns.com Now go to the download section and get winmpq. then use it to open the exe file that comes in the ttor 3.21 full zip. In there you should see a list of all files in the archive. And that list is quite long so just scroll down untill you get to units\lizardmen\ then just take some names of model you think sound like good dino models and extract them then put them into WE using the same path for the file you extracted as the one displayed in winmpq. Like if you extracted the units\lizardmen\larch\larch.mdx the model path in the importer would be units\lizardmen\larch\ Now another thing you should notice is that I placed most of my textures into the Textures\ folder in the TToR 3.21 archive. And you need these to use the models. So to get the paths for each model just get yobguls coverter in the download section and convert the models you want the texture path for to mdl. then open the mdl file in notepad and scroll down untill you find a list of textures. In there all paths to the textures you need should be listed between "'s. So look for then just extract these textures from the archive using winmpq. If there is a texture you can't find, then there is a chance that it is a default wc3 texture and you don't need to import it. Just import the textures you need and place them in import manager with the path you extracted them from and that should be it. |
