Hey, I dont know what to call it, so I couldn't find anything to help me out. Does anybody know how, or where I could find information on, how to change the map "preview" or "screenshot"? You know, when your in a custom game, you can see a preview of the maps terrain. I'd like to put a portrait of something else... hell, maybe its called a portrait? =P Anyway, I know ToB has a piece of artwork for their preview, and thats what I'd like to do with mine. Can anybody help me out here? Much appreciated,

er...dunno what you're saying there, slow down and express yourself more clearly
if you're talking about taking an ingame screenshot, press "Print Screen" on your keyboard and paste it into a painting program

if you're talking about the minimap that you see before you start playing, you have to make your own picture, import it into wc3, then its either in the gameplay interface, or map description...

Yup, take a screen shot or picture of whatever you want to be in the minimap preview. then open it in a paint program that supports TGA, BMP, JPEG, PSD or GIF

-Crop or resize your picture to be 265 x 256
-Get Warcraft 3 Map Utilites
-in W3MU open your map
--then go to (minimap)
--(open image)
--open your 256x256 image
--hit (add image)

Now open Wc3 World Edit
-go to scenario in the top tool bar
--Map Properties
--Use Default Screen

Then when your map is loading it will give you a screen that looks like a battle.net random team game loading screen accept the minimap will be your 256x256 art.

This should of covered everything. PM me if yous still need help.

You don't need a utility. Just get a hold of something like adobe Photoshop, make a 64x64 or 128x128 or 256x256 .tga 24-bit image. Import it into your map and set its path to "war3MapPreview.tga".
