ok...i tried following a tut oinkerwinkle gave about geoseting, and it worked perfect. until i looked at in wc3 viewer. i stuck a pally head on a footy body. when i looked at it just standing there, no animations, in wc3viewer, it looked fine. but then i looked at the animations and it was all messed up. when he swung the sword, the head would follow the path of the sword. and whenever i turned the model, the head would always be facing me. its like this ingame too. its so weird. i need some help...anyone?

It sounds to me like you attached it to the wrong bone. Specifically, you attached it one of the ones controlling the circles sticking on his sword handle. That not-rotating effect you observed is called 'billboarding' and does just that; doesn't allow the geometry to rotate based on the angle you're looking at it. You'll see that done on all sorts of planes such as the gnoll's mace and the priest's staff. That also explains why it was following the weapon; that bone is attached to the weapon.

For a solution, do the following:

- Find the last geoset.
- Scroll down to its matrices section. It should look like:
Code:
    Groups 1 1 {
        Matrices { 9 },    <--Should be 9, 10, or 11 for you
    }
- Change the 9, 10, or 11 to a 24

If that doesn't solve it, then upload the MDX/L and I'll look at it.
