Destructables. Walkable. Anger.

Ok, I got sick of setting up hundreds of invisible platforms to make things walkable so I tried somethin I read on this forum about setting custom destructables to no pathing and making them walkable. It works great as far as units walking on them but they refuse to line up right.
i.e. the table with no legs model. Im trying to make a pathway with a bunch of them but they wont line up perfect like I could get it to with mushroom pathing. Anyway around this?

Heres a screen for a better refrence.
You can see it looks straight for short distances but it will eventually start kicking to the right or left.

1. Make them have some pathing, it could be anything, try a barrel.
2. Then Cut it, so it disappears, now copy it, it should be straight.
3. If that doesnt work, just put it there again.

4. I hope this helped and worked.
5a. If it doesnt work, most likely (and hopefully not) I'm going to be red repped.
5b. It it does work, most likely (and hopefully) I'm going to be green repped.

i've tried things like that. Blizzard didn't want to group props and destructables in 1 catagory therefore giving them the same fields *is it that ****ing hard to just add a destructables field?* Anyway, don't depend using stuff like that. I find elevators just below are a nice and workable alternative usually.

Well... there ought to be some pathing that fits to that model... If they're to be the same size, it might be easier to simply define a pathing, such as a Circle of power, for an example...

Wait a minute, if you say that you set the custom destructible to no pathing, then it wouldn't have a pathing map at all, meaning that you can pretty much place it where you want. Check to see if your pathing map is set to NONE.

Another solution would be to make a custom destructible and change these fields:
Set the Pathing Map to None.
Set the Category to Ramp.
Change the model to whatever you want.

Then the doodad will use the model mesh as its collision, and you can walk on the surface of the doodad. You just have to place pathing blockers along the edges of your walkway or bridge or whatever.

Because Blizzard made the tables at an odd angle, they don't line up perfectly vertically. I recommend you use the mouse to get them as lined up as possible instead of the numpad.

Edit: Another thing you could do is set the pathing to "none" then make a bunch of tables on top of eachother. Change all the scale so its the same for every table and then move them until they line up well, this is what I do, and it works pretty well.
