variables i think

ok im making a map that invovles picking a # between 1-4 for each person to decide how the game will play out. Now i want to be able to just add up the #s they pick to give the strat. So say if player 1 picks 2 player 2 picks 2 and so on till player 5 you would get a total of ten how would i make them add up to ten and then set that as a variable.

Display a dialog box for each player with buttons numbering 1 through 4. When a player selects a button, store their choice into a variable array. Once all players have chosen, add up the numbers in the array.
