Intro / Go to next map (while story continues...) problems

Yo all,

I hope i am in the right forum for these problems... It goes as follows:

I have a cinematic, where a few units meet each other and after they chatted, they run to the side of the screen...

1. When the cinematic begins, it immediatly starts playing... How can i make it something like a black screen --> a little storytelling through a few lines of explaination --> fade in --> then the units run to each other... ?

2. When they run to the side of the map, the screen stays focused on the town they where talking in, and i got a message "And so they...", but after that, i want it to fade to black, and make the story continue instead of what it does now: just quit after that...

Can anyone help me out ? Sorry if these are rather dumb questions...

Sorry this isn't the right forum, the cinematic forum would be the correct one. But i'm feeling nice today so on to your questions:

1. Use the action Fade Filter - Black Mask and choose fade out, and then set the amount of seconds u want it to fade. After the actions, insert the text and then a wait and then u do Fade Filter - Black Mask and choose fade in.

2. What do you mean by quit? The map don't just END all of a sudden. If you want it to return to normal game mode, then do set letterbox mode for all players off/cinematic mode off

Mmm... yes, the map doesn't end all of a sudden, but euhm, how should i put this ? :/ For example: "And so they..." then you see them running away (out of sight...) and then i want to fade out like they do in the campaigns, fade back in and show them running through the forest to another town...

Well, as i said this belongs in the Cinemativs forum since it's basically cinematics. To do the thing you want you will have to fade again using black mask and then apply a new camera for the players.

I don't see what's not working, what part of it don't you understand?
