3D Canvas A new modelling program I discovered. ![]() Seems THOUSANDS time cheaper then any modelling programs I have heard of! The features of it seems decent go their site and read the product comparision between the FREE version and PRO version - along with many plug-ins. Comes with tutorial and many extra features which will help you guys model if you buy PRO For more info about this exciting modelling program alternative to 3ds Studio Max , go to http://www.amabilis.com/products.htm Finally but not least... The models you create with it can be saved as (for pro which is recommended): POVRay (pov) RenderMan (rib) 3D Studio (3ds) DirectX (x) MS Train Simulator (s) MS Flight Simulator 2002 Shockwave 3D (w3d) AutoCAD (dxf) LightWave (lwo) Neutral Object Format MD2 RAW (raw) RenderWare (rwx) TrueSpace (cob) VRML (wrl) Wavefront (obj) WorldToolKit (nff) Remember some of the model formats can be converted. I RECOMMEND THE PRO VERSION FOR YOU PROFESSIONAL MODELLERS OUT THERE! ITS VERY CHEAP IF YOU BUY PRO WHICH IS GOOD! |

Wow, Discreet is going to lose TONs of profit now, I can't belive this is only $70. (I have 3dmax4 and 6 by other means.... but I almost think I'd like this program better) EDIT: This should be moved to the Model Forum and Stickied. |

I agree with Goon, but that program is gonna be useless for WC3 model making unless someone codes up a exporter/importer, or you keep moving the files between this and Max... And yes, this should be in the Modeling section |
