God of Us

"Bow down to me, child!" the voice within my head spoke.

"Never demon! I refuse your desires!" I scream to the voice.

"Your will is crumbling...your body shall be a vessel for my soul," it replies.

"Aghhhhhhhhhhhhh! Leave me alone!" I yell as I begin to black out.

The cold air rips at my being, the silence maddening, the darkness blinding. Could this place be death? I begin to run, soon noticing I am not moving...I am surely not at home, at Vhenura. I already have lost track of time, what feels like 10 minutes may be days or a few seconds. The only way to keep my mind is to imagine what many would consider insane. My imagination toys with the thoughts of being a god.

11 years later:

"Hahahahahaha! Bow before me mortals less I smite thee!" I scream like a madman, "Worship me as a absorb your soul and become We, the god of us!"

Enraged like a lunatic at my imaginary worshippers not bowing down to me, I start to scream the most unholy noise. The sound waves proceed to shred the very fabric of space, a sweet release from my prison. I walk through the rip of space and return to my home of Vhenura, Planet of Shadows. It is not the same though...while trapped, a great force of evil must have come to rule. The lands are darker, the streets covered with blood. Only one thought came to mind, "I must become We, the god of us, to gain vengeance for the lost souls."

"Fool, you have truly embraced insanity," a voice sounds within my head.
"Now demon, you will bow to me, for my mind is invincible as I am the most powerful god ever!" I reply to the fiend.
"Indeed your mind is too strong for me to toy with...but you are no god," it states to my mind.
"Not yet, but We shall form!" I scream at the demon.

-=This story is about a lunatic who finds a way to bend reality towards his imagination. I don't plan on turning it into a campaign, but if people like it, I may form a team.=-

The intro is in first person...the rest of the story is in 3rd person.
