Actually, I have just been making the series up as I create each one. So far, I have not had any custom voices or models, so far only custom music. I believe Med.MapGuy is adding custom skins to Part 5 as we speak, but I could be wrong, I am not all sure of what he is doing, but I can assure you that it will make part 5 (which is 99.9% done) better.

yes custom skins and models are usually important for cinematics since they rely mostly on Art. Art is one of the factors that make cinematcs good or bad. Music is also very important though.

Yes. Take the hobbit for example. It will have custom models and custom voices and sounds. Do this and your cinematic will be the best

No, art does not make a cinematic. Story should be the core of any film or cinematic. Once you have a story everything else will fall into place. Once you establish a compelling storyline, art, voices and sound will follow. Focus on your story, not your art. That is the key to cinematics.

Well said. Don't rely on just the art to make your cinematic. The key things to focus on are definitely storyline first, and also audio/music.

Priorities in Cins:
1. Storline!
2. Camera work, angles, and moving
3. Music
4. Skins
5. Models
6. Voices

Well of course story is important but people really like art alot. I mean if i saw a cinematic that has all sorts of new features i would be very impressed. If it was just regular features i wouldnt be all that surprised. But i am not saying that story isnt important. Just think of what the people would like to see.

Then what made Cult of the Damned so popular. ;)

Freakazoid: good comment. It really adds to the effect if the people look at each other. Close-ups are good as well.

but you need the units portrait to be put onto the unit for that. And i know its possible. Oriwinkle did it, And its one hell of a geomerge. Most people wouldn't know where to start.

no, just use the trigger: Lock unit body-part facing to unit with offset.

Liked all parts well and enjoyed the originality of it all.

to chaosfury- Well, some of that was true, effective, and constructive criticism but you should take your time and at least lightly grammarize your sentence structure, but if you had actually watched all of them through you would understand it better, you missed about 3 parts of it by the look of your post. What I don't like is how you spend so little time observing the material and jumping to conclusions while typing so wildly that you do not have real sentences.
