novice in need of advice

Im fairly new to using my campaign editor for war3 but ive made a few decent maps which im proud of. I would like to know 4 things but im not exactly sure what im doing especially with triggers. here they are.

1. I need to know how I can make a custom owl scout unit, my plan is to make a new creep out of the owl picture, but it isnt listed and I cant get it to work.-along with other units that arent shown like the entangled gold mine.

2. I would like to know where I can find the starcraft units- zergling marine and hydralisk. I know theyre there, but i cant find them.

3. I would like to know how to make custom items, like ive seen in vamp hunter type maps.

4. I would like to know how to get weather effects to work, in a step by step sort of procedure. Ive messed with the triggers involved as far as I know, but it never works.

2. There's something that you can download from this site to get those. Look there.

3. You just click the creat custom unit (In Unit Editor) and create a new item. There, you can set charges and icons for it.

4. Two ways. If you want the weather effect right away (when the map starts) just make a "region" where you want it to be. Double-click on the region (or right click on the pop-up menu and click "edit properties". There, you can enable a starting weather effect. Here's a way to do it during a game: (once again, have a region created where you want to do this.

Event - Whatever event you want to trigger it.

Actions:
Enviroment - Create a weather effect at "region Y" with the effect "rain"

Enviroment - Enable Effect - Enable last created effect.

Get World Editor Enhanced Blink, or just the Blink Editor for short. It gives you all hidden units. It gives you a truckload more that you'll need for advanced map editing also. Heck, Blink will let you make a custom unit that looks like a tree if you want to! :ggani:
