I decided to improve killst4r's Vincinator (he calls it a storm trooper) skin. I'm tryig to illiminate almost all the cnp involved and make it look like the sc ghost images. Origional model and skin and shit: http://www.wc3sear.ch/index.php?p=Mo...f8a92eb691a626 ![]() ![]() |

I'm going to change the portrait in game so its closer to the face (so you can see the detail). here is an updated version, I finished the armor on the face. edit- updated portrait via mdl. |

Its looking much better but for some reason I cant click on the portrait? why? |

You can't click on it because it is an attached image... not a thumbnail. And that's cool... looks like the one in ghost... very much so. icbm1987 |

very, very nice skin, especially compared to the previous one. even without the other to compare to, its a great skin. @jerre: the other attached image (portrait) is not a thumbnail. for some reason, its small enough that it displays the image at its current size, the same way it did with the map of socom2's blizzard map (http://www.wc3campaigns.com/showthre...7&page=2&pp=25) the picture i uploaded got pasted as an image..... bah i have no true reason, other than it probably has something to do with the size of the image....... but yea if you dont believe me check my terrain gallery!!!! lmao.... but it DID happen there, with the map of the socom2 game level.... but in conclusion: its a VERY nice skin.... and i think the non-thumbnail has something to do with size *edit* dam you icbm..... took me 10 mins to type this up... and you come and say it all in 2 lines.... curse be upon you! lol |

There should be a link in my post which directs you to a picture of the origional... and don't worry, when the thing is done I'll give you a real screen shot (wc3viewer). |

Thats looking very good. I'm not sure how much of the body you've done, but if thats all you then thats awesome. A few suggestions: assuming the curvy striped thing in the top right is the hair, 1) sharpen it a bit, but just enough that it doesnt start looking too contrasty and start adding random colors like it does 2) add a leather texture to it or something of the sort to give it a more realistic look to it, because I think his hair would prolly be similar to kerrigans from starcraft, which was more like tentacle thingys 3) burn thin light lines, kinda like the ones you have, but some more and not as noticable 4) make the left side of the gun as detailed as the right is, the lines arent as thick and dark |

Thx for the suggestions mesh, I've only done the face and hair so far and I will use your suggestions (I couldn't do the hair right for some reason). |

I updated the hair (I need to make the darker parts thinner) and did most of the legs, I still need to do the feet though. I also added color because the whole model has team color on it. All the main blue parts will have team color. The skin is also 512x512 now. |

awesome... at least someone posted about "editting" killstar's model <there was some loser on the downloads who downloaded the model and uploaded it for himself claiming me had editted it...> i forgot, was protoss hair blue or that color? that mask kix @$$ :D |

Protoss have various skin and hair color, just like humans. Heres the update with all the team color on. I finished the legs and I will work on the chest and arms next, then to the gun. I will also see if I can get someone to add particle emmitters to his eyes, like in the pictures. ![]() |
