1.You go to layers - regions add a region at the finish line thing... then make a trigger unit enters region x(finishline) ---- any condition you want ---- then game victory to owner of triggering unit 4. you go to triggers and delete melee initilization... and go to layers - units and add a player start location |

Make a new category (folder) name it whatever you want... Then click on new trigger which is right next to the folder icon... Event - click on the red flag and make it Unit enters Region... click on region and select the finish line.... Condition - dont know your map so i dont know if you need any then make a new Action and make it - Game - Victory (owner of (triggering unit) |

so i dont need anything for conditions.. all it is is the first person to get to the finish line wins, thats it. |

As for selling items, go to Object Editor>Items tab, then select the item and set "Can be Sold" (the value should look somehting like that) and set it to true. For your firewall, you need to go on google and do some research, type "warcraft 3 game ports" or soemthing similar to that, see which ports it uses (I think it might be TCP port 3112, but I don't remember), then go to your browser and type 192.168.0.1 (or 192.168.1.1 if you use Linksys router), then go to Ports/Forwarding and open up the warcraft 3 ports. As for your question #5 (if you should do/get anything else), I recommend you get comfortable with the editor first before you start making maps. Read some tutorials, open someone else's map, look through their settings, units, items, triggers, try to understand how they did things. It's a lot more fun to work on the map when you know how it functions. Triggers can be very fun, they're my favorite part about making maps. |

i went the for the items tab, and every single item is already set to true. So how do i put certain ones in to buildings, i have 3, is there a way to put all three of them in seperately or together? then i need either a building with heros.. or a place where i can have all heros the same and they spawn together(being the only characters) also another problem.. how do i find out my computer's admin name. I forgot what it is. |

I have some other problems.. 7.) My selection brush only works sometimes, what mode do i have to be in for it to work all of the time. 8.) it wont let me load it on b.net because it is to big, what size does it have to be? and how can i fix it.. its 192 by 192 |

The admin name can be reset by resetting your router, although it's a good idea to remember it. As for selection brush, it selects objects depending on your palette, if you're in terrain palette, it selects areas of terrain, if you're in unit palette, it selects units, if you're in region palette, it selects regions, if you're in camera palette, it selects cameras. If you're in terrain palette, and try to select a unit, for example, it won't let you. The map size 192x192 should be loadable on BNET, although it will take a really long time to load it. I prefer to keep my maps around 160x160, this loads fast and I can fit everything I need on a map of this size. |
