Ok, I have finished my map and tested it. It's working fine, but there is one thing that I don't know how to change. In the Player Properties, I have assigned unique names to the teams. My map is single player with one computer team to play against. My problem is that when I go to play the game (or test it), the game loads with the team names of "WorldEditor" for Player 1, and "Computer(Normal)" for Player 2, even though I have assigned them proper names within the Player Properties. Is there any way to have the names I assigned to them displayed? Having "Computer(Normal)" displayed over the enemies' heads is kind of counterproductive to getting into the game I think. |

I haven't encountered your problem with it overwriting your customized names with Computer, but I reckon the "WorldEditor" is probably because you're using the Test Map feature. Have you tried running the map normally through Warcraft 3 and seeing if you have the same result? |

Under actions, there is a function called 'Player - Set Name'. Use it and it will change the name to whatever you put in. |

I had considered that as the issue, so I ran it as a normal game. Of course, the "WorldEditor" part doesn't show up, as far as I can tell, anyway. However, the "Computer(Normal)" is plain as day in both methods. That's what I would really like to get rid of. |

You can set the way you want your name to be displayed in Test Maps by going to File>Preferences and putting in your name in "Player Profile" field. AS for computers, I'm sure that you just forgot to force your map to use fixed settings for players. Just go to Scenario>Force Properties and put a check next to "Fixed Player Settings". That should fix everything. |

Hmmm, I think what he means is that before you press the start button he has two teams, the first team is he's team where HE is, and the second team is with a computer. And as i undestand it, he wants to change the "Computer(Normal)" bit. Well, good luck with that, becouse there is no way (far as i know) to change that :\ |

This worked fine. Thanks. One more thing to add I had to do was disable the default AI script after doing this, as it made every unit on the map flock to the first battle site, and that would be devastating to the Player. |
