Nurgle champion ( seriously WIP )

I need advice on how I can Improve this model especially the armor, I would like it to be the kind of green metal that most common nurgle warriors wear but I just can't get the feel right, I've already looked @ the tuts, also keep in mind that not everything is finished and as ussual all comments are welcome
*edit* reference pics as adviced, and how do I turn of particle emitters?btw

maybe post a reference pic of what a nurgle is? lol... anyway also get a shot with less particle emitters... i cant see what parts on the skin are what colored red and which are particle covered in the pic.... so yea a ref pic would be nice

Eyes could use a little work, but its pretty good, the Orc Fiend would be a good basic "Nurgle" or whatever they are :(
