Skaven Lair -wip-

This is meant to be an underground Skaven lair. I've not done much so far, and I want some crits before I go further. Makes my life easier ;) .

Anyway: the first two screens are of a new tunnel under construction in the lair. I would have put some, if not lots of slaves in if I had appropriate models; that can wait.

The second two are of a Skaven Warlock's..... 'work' area. The Warlock in question would be from Clan Moulder; hence the caves, cages and piles of burnt 'failed experiments'. The large pit is meant for disposing of any creature that gets out of control. I would like suggestions here on how to make the pile of barrels and Felwood Poison look like warpstone leaking from barrels or someting similar.

(If you have no idea what I'm on about, Skaven are a race of ratmen in Warhammer. Clan Moulder are a clan who produce produce bizzare mutants for war using warpstone, a highly dangerous magic stone found most commonly in meteors.)

not bad as a start but personally I prefer a more claustrofobic approach to skaven lairs were danger lurks in every nook and cranny, and make it darker plus more clutter it looks like they had springcleaning.

The roof in the tunnel is that high up because it was the only way i could get it above the game camera. I'm aiming for a lot of chaotic scaffolding in the tunnel; any suggestions on what to use for it?

Also, it won't look as empty once I get some models to put in it; I might make the Warlock workshop smaller, but I want some chained creatures, Rat Ogres and such, to put in it. Also, getting some slave models would really fill up some space. Meh... that'll have to wait...

those are really good. and they do need to be darker. what i propose, that instead of loads of little cages, we should geoset merge and use attachments to create his playthings and have some that are huge, and if you manage to fight your way in there then you can smash them out and they will go on a rampage. and it also needs to be more scary and dangerous

very very nice. im not sure what the skavn are, i think their from warhammer. but i really like the terrain, an open and yet cluttered look at the same time. im not sure i can explane it. for some reason it reminds me of draken, but i dont know why. keep up the good work :D

oo oo oo sewerpipes lots of em and look at murlocs great goblin city for the crazy invention, skaven have crazy inventions and green flames for warpstone and stuff

Very nice use of doodads for the cieling thingy, altrough very good scenery, but, what is a skaven? Err :>

jerre, I promise you than when I get to the Clan Skyre cave there will be LOTS of crazy machinery. And, if possible, Rat Ogres in giant hamster wheels. Powering a giant warp device. Which produces madness.....

More shots, this time of the Clan Skyre section of the caves. I used the Banish buff for the green flames.

I really need some models to get this right... meh...

Can anyone suggest something good to use for a conveyor belt?
