New race in me map need ideas

ok i was thinking about adding merchants aka traders but i have no clue how to make them play well i have 1 idea and that u get a hero u can choose ur type of trade and sell stuff
plz help me.. this will be included in war of the islands

I think I'd need a clearer sense of what you're asking for, and the context of the map you want to put it in, before I could offer suggestions about what kinds of things you might want to experiment with.

CrimsonSong, as this is one of your more recent posts asking for help I thought I should point this out to you.

You have continually started projects, and then ended them prematurely. You either 'end' them or you simply say that it has slowed down for a long time, then you officially end them.


Before you start another project, determine whether or not you intend to complete said project.

Then, go about making an outline of everything you want in the project. Be outrageous, list things you dont even think are possible.

After you have that list, use the [ list ] and [ * ] (sans spaces) bullet codes to show us your outline and ask us for help with specific items. Ask us to tell if its possible, and EXPLAIN EVERYTHING thoroughly.

If you did something like that, we would be able to help you get everything sorted out and all you would have to do is post one (albeit large) post. It would help us and you far more than what you are doing currently.

Remember: Find a good idea, dedicate yourself to it, ask lots of questions, and explain everything thoroughly. It helps us, help you.

ok then i never started a new map i just fixed it up and changed everything and now im adding more races in it. the race i want to add is traders.. you get one hero and you choose the type of thing you wanna sell then after that you roam the land searching for people who to sell.. for example, a slave buildings which can train workers that create different buildings aka make a Empire different from others. hmm this is where i need help on ideas like what kind of buildings that create different stuff
