So, I decided sometime last summer that I was going to take it upon myself to make as close of a copy of Warcraft II as I could using the Warcraft III engine and world editor. Needless to say, it took me some time to even begin to feel comfortable with the editor (I'm not a programmer by any means) and my lack of artistic skills has presented a roadblock as well. Anyway, I'm looking for people to help. The first thing I'd like is if someone with some model-making skills could get in contact with me. There's a few units (such as the Orc Death Knights) from Warcraft II that were cut that I'd like to be able to put into the game. It would be a huge undertaking as a project, and I've been weary to even share the thought (I'm sure I'm not the first person to think about it) but I admittedly need help. Feel free to get in touch with me - contact info is in my profile. I'll also monitor this thread. I hope some people are interested! I think this could be a lot of fun, and a great accomplishment for everyone. There are some talented people on these forums! |

i think he means new models altogether. i think ive played wc 2.3, and its just using wc3 models. not much of an accomplishment. i would help you, but i have so much other stuff to do first. if you need anything small, though, email me at [email protected] or IM me in instant messenger, or PM me. and yes, this would be spectacular to see...lotsa new models....yummm good luck to you, tho... flames' |

you must also keep in mind that in warcraft 2 the orcs we "chaos" - they had been infused with demon blood... |
