very nice for a dark forest. good clostraphobic feel. nice use of doodads. the sky and fog togeather give the good effect of mist in the distance. theres nothing specific to improve on, (other than a tiny bit more tile variation), but it lacks features, it needs something interesting. parhaps the whole forest on a plateu, overlooking a foggy mroe, or in a large ravean, it just needs somehting more. but that soemthing could be pretty much anyhting |

im not a big fan of natural terrain but i guess this is alright. Thing is to me theres only so much you can do with natural terrain, lets face it weve all seen that same forest a thousand times pretty much. |

Maybe you should add a bit more variation in the tiles. Also, add more shrubs and mushrooms :D Appart from that, it doesn't need much more. DeSty |

I like what you have going so far :D To make it more "forresty" blizzball, I would suggest adding some more variety. Throw in alterations for rocks and shrubs, try and clutter the ground somewhat, but don't make it too complicated. Since the regular grass terrain tile doesn't do it much 3d justice, I'd put in what I said. Also, I'd say to make a much higher amount of differing trees. For instance; don't limit yourself to just the felwood canopy and wall tree. Perhaps throw in some other, close versions to spice it up. For every redwood forrest there's atleast one pine tree that's trying to make a life ^_^ . Lastly, I'd expand the scaling for some of the trees. Have some new born (i.e. scaled down trees) occasionally. You're doing great :D |
