can't really crit but I have some questions. do you plan these things before you build em? are you gonna put the temple on top of those things? should I wait with annoying questions until its finished? but so far looks good, could turn out very impressive. |

ive never planned anything out, im not just talking about map, not a thing in my life. so i guess im just doomed to never compleatly finsh a map. the temple will be on the circular bit at the end, with a path leading up to it. yes it is a custom model, made for me my Oinkerwinkle. its available in the essentail terrain tools thread |

ok those pillars you have hanging are really taunting gravity. I do have suggestion make it a ruined temple with seaweed and other stuff growing over it. that way you can also use the ruined pillars and stuff ( I use the word stuff alot, dont I?) |

its been a while since i did suspension structures in maths, but providing all the weigh is equal on the opostite sides of the circular bit, the paraboli arcs should be able to hold a hell of a lot of weight......... i think. im trying to keep it a well maintained temple. i got the idea form this pic by The Devils Blade. |

Goos stuff. I dont think it needs much more work, it just needs more of it, and it needs to become..something, but the structure and idea is all very good. make it go somewhere gitllich! :D |

ok then how about some sort of soulcalibur arena thing if you could make that walkable that would be cool, somebody could turn it into a map. and for the parabolic thing. no way they're gonna hold those pillars in the air. the upper arch cant pull enuff to keep em in place |

[edit] ive got the outward pillars of the tempal done (i hate thinking in radians), heres a couple more screen, but i still have no idea how to make a walkway that would fit with the surrounding. it should preferably look evlven, maby a little more high elven than NE. i tried useing the 2 columns with the straight bar accross the top, with a very low z value (approx 3), but it went funny colours at low angles. ideas anyone? |
