Importing warcraft units into 3d Max

Hi there! I was wondering if someone would know how to get a unit from warcraft into my 3d Max 4.26 .... plz i need all links for all programs i need and a short explanation.... i see on the forum that a lot of ppl edit chars so i would want to try. Thanks for the info
