Guest | Ok before I start YES Im VERY new to this and this is very simple and should work but it DOESN'T and it's driving me mad. Events Time - Every 4.00 seconds of game time Conditions (Barracks 0069 <gen> is alive) Equal to True Actions Unit - Create 1 for Player 2 (Blue) at (Center of BB Barracks exit <gen>) facing 225.00 degrees Unit - Order (Last created unit) to Attack-Move To (Center of BB Gather Area <gen>) Now this one does work, a unit is created at one region and moves to another. Events Time - Every 4.00 seconds of game time Conditions (Barracks 0027 <gen> is alive) Equal to True Actions Unit - Create 1 for Player 1 (Blue) at (Center of BR Barracks exit <gen>) facing 225.00 degrees Unit - Order (Last created unit) to Attack-Move To (Center of BR Gather Area <gen>) This one doesn't work? They are both EXACTLY the same, when this trigger is run the unit is created in one region moves to the other region. But for some unexplainable reason it runs back to the region it was created at and stays there. AAAARGHHH "#¤! son of a #"¤¤ing If someone want's to see it for themself I can send them the map, how do I fix this? I want the unit to stay at the region I moved it to, and not run back to the region it was created at. I can't understand that the exact same type of trigger works in one case but not in another. |

Guest | Its because the unit tries to return to its rally point. Put in one thingy After its created: Order last created unit to stop THEN order ti to move, then it wont try to go to the rally point. |

Guest | Sorry doesn't help it still does the same thing. Appears in first region, moves to the other region and runs back to the region it was created at. Anyway if that had been necessary the first triggers I made should cause the blue units to behave the same, but they don't they actually do exact what I want them to. Thanks anyway,... any more ideas? I tested something btw, I changed only one thing... I made it created the units for teal instead of red and it works!!! The only thing I changed was which player got the units. Must be some damn bug of some sort. :nono: |

Guest | ...but I want red to get the units... Is there anyway around this? |

The moron units are trying to return the their "guard position". There is a trigger AI - ignore all unit guard positons. Using this should make them stop returning. If not, you could always make a trigger that stops the units when they get to a certian point. -The Great and Immortal Lord Imperialist Insaniteus- -----------------------Birds of a feather, f#ck together |

Guest | Make sure to turn off the melee initialization - Run AI. Only if Insani-whatever's suggestion doesn't work. Care. |

And for god's sake, my name is INSANITEUS!!! I have been called Insani-whatsit, Insani-whatever, Insani-dude, Insani-guy... and this is getting old! This is how my name is spelled: Insan--Insane, only with a non-stressed a and no e i--unstressed i sound te--Pronounced Tay, spelled te (Nearly every language but english makes E sound like A) us--as in us, the word that means, well... us! I'm not exactly a dictionary ya know! All together this makes Insaniteus, the Lord of Insanity, the Eternal Rebel, the Slayer of Existence, and the Imperialist of Legend! -The Great and Immortal Lord Imperialist Insaniteus- ------------------Sorry, but how would you feel if everyone called you Heavy?? |

Now Player 1 and Player 2 are both controlled by User, right? Or is Player 2 controlled by Computer? Or Player 3 controlled by Neutral or None? If that is the case (Player Properties), then it is the computer AI doing this to you. Make Player 2 a User-controlled player and the computer will stop moving units for you. |

Yeah but that would make the slot open for people to play. Try neutral or none might work? |

"us" is the standard Latin masculine nominative ending. |

Yeah. When I made the name Insaniteus, I wanted it to sound as if it came from several different languages and I wanted it to sound of raw power. I believe that I succeded. It was so much easier for my brother, Demoslasher, to get his name since it was given to him in summer school years ago for tearing peices out of some guy with a rake because the guy drew a knife on him! And for trivial purposes, there is no person for Elda Dorai, I embody him as well. And if anyone is lost, those three characters are the great Legends that overthrew the gods. I plan on some day making a map about them, but I've been writing their story for 4 fuggin' years now and it would be very hard to cram all of that into even a campaign!! -Insaniteus, Demoslasher, and Elda Dorai- --------------------The Imperialist and Orbisons of Legend, bound by their will to defy fate itself and recruted by the gods in a civil war, destroyed both sides to make life in the hands of the living for once! |
