I was just doodling around with the editor and tried to slow unit animation down. I had two units and I slowed them down separately with two actions. When i tested it, nothing happened, they moved with their regular speed. Only the death animation was slowed down, and the decaying animation was actually accelerated... What gives? Then I tried to turn the game speed to a lower level, but it did nothing. Can someone think of reasons why these aren't working? |

Now, setting a game speed to a lower level and nothing happening means a lot. It could either mean 1 - Your world editor is buggy, in that case, reinstall it. 2 - Your computer is slow. Get a new one. 3 - Time is slowing around you. Buy tights and become a superhero. 4 - You didn't slow it down properly. Perhaps the trigger to do all these didn't run at all. 5 - Your computer is actually an alien. RUN AWAY!!! |

I can safely agree with the possibility of at least two of these. You know which two. |

RUN AWAY keep up your stupid posts for someone that doesnt need help... if you want change the run speed animation you need a trigger that slows animation speedAFTER the unit started to move. |

My computer is 2.4 Ghz, 512mbs of RAM and (atm) 18.5 gigs of free diskspace... Consider yourselves if I need a new computer. :D But as new computers cost too much bling bling, i'll try reinstalling first. And Arohk, don't be too hard on Ant, I think that was pretty funny, and he did post 3 possible solutions for the problem. :> Also, if i only wanted to slow down the movement speed, I could just use the slow unit movement speed action. And that would mean i would have to use another action to slow the animations down. So that isn't an option. |

Did you check your computer for vestigal tenticles or a strange green glow? P.S. I hope reinstalling works, because that's among the very few things that you can do to try to solve the problem of the game-speed not being changeable. The other issues might just be in how you've implemented them. If you were to write up a detailed account of the process that you used to try to change the speeds, I'll be happy to comment on it. |

Okay. Just a moment, i'll post the map here after i finish reinstalling. Edit: Reinstalling didn't help, but here's the map. Just a simple scene. Camera rotates around a hill, abomination runs towards the marine on top of the hill. Dunno. Just thought it would look cool. |

Well, I looked at what you have, and from what I see, I'd judge that your triggers are working perfectly. You're completely changing the animation speed of the units. However, what you probably want is to change the movement and attack speeds, since the unit will continue to have the same stats even when its animation is running slower. Anyway, check the map as I attached it. I tried a couple different things to back up my conclusion. |

Well, I guess I was too hasty. Seems like I have to use the slow unit movement speed action. Just that it worked without it before, now it doesn't. Funny that. |
