I'm making a new mod which i will show when it 's more balanced. I started making new skins for this mod, and here's one... that's the peon type for the Chaos army. He's supposed to be a slave... Allmost all of it is free hand except for the face that is recolored a bit. I'm happy with the way the chest turned out, but i think the whip scars on his back don't look so good yet. Plz give comments. oh and one thing you should have in mind : this is a peon unit, in game it's really small...So small details won't show. Here's the link to the pic. |

I think that the blood on the back needs to be improved, but otherwise it's a good skin. |

yea i know...the back was really shitty so i did some recolor on it. See the newest one here . not so different and yet so much better imo... thx for the comments :D Now i hate team color, but i have to put it somewhere... Do you guys have any idea where ? |

Team Color? Good luck... the only thing I could suggest for that is maybe put a tatoo somewhere that is team colored... graet skin btw |

Here is a awesome blood tutorial. http://planetunreal.com/identitycris...rs/index.shtml If you don't have psp (I don't) Just get a blood looking brush and get the settings of the brush as close as possible. and when it says set blend type to burn in PS its called color burn. |

thx I didn't want to add blood spill to it, i want it more like a dry scar. But the tutorial seems pretty helpfull anyway (i cant believe i didn't know there was a burn tool on photoshop...). Egg, yea i have trouble with melting the back polys into the rest of the skin. Otherwise i'm ok with the way it's blurry cuz it's for in-game purpose only. |

looks good, but the blood should be darker and less pink, this is a cool skin, and maybe make the skin more of a greyish tinge...desaturate it... |

I think you're right, that overall skin color I used makes him look pretty healthy, and even chubby...which is kinda odd for a slave!!! ps : btw if there's any modeller here that is interested in adding chains to his feet and/or to his arms, i would be delighted. ^_^ |

yeah, well, chains would be hard to do, youd have to animate them and then attach them or else they would be stiff chains... |

the blood could use some work but why are all the cuts facaing the same way --- --- --- --- the cuts look like lines fix that |

I think thats probably because of the nature of the strike, , the direction of the strike will make all of the tails of the whip go the same direction |

why would someone whip sideways if they could whip like at a 45 degree angle like this \\\ or /// it would hurt much much more i should no after my cousion got a whip for christmas |

But if you whip someone sideways, u might break his spine luckily. :D ......No actually the reason why i did them that way is because i never saw real whip scars, and i just thought they would look like that ... 'guess i'll have to get documentation (sounds like fun)... |
