Just a fair warning, I am a noob to WE in general, and haven't much of a clue as to how I'm doing this.. Chances are the answer will be quite obvious :( Well I'm currently trying to set up a dream sequence, in that, I want the camera view to fade in and out multiple times whilest watching a scene. The problem is I can't use the "fade out and back in" option, since I'd like to have things occur when the view is faded out. So naturally I tried to seperate my map with 2 filters, one for fading out and one for fading back in. Here's what I have so far for the actions. -Cinematic - Turn cinematic mode On for Player Group - Player 1 (Red) over 0.50 seconds -Camera - Apply Camera 001 <gen> for Player 1 (Red) over 0.00 seconds -Camera - Sway the camera source for Player 1 (Red) with mag 10.00 and velocity 4.00 -Cinematic Fade out over 0.00 seconds using texture Black Mask and color (100.00%, 100.00%, 100.00%) with 0.00% transparency -Wait 2.00 seconds -Cinematic - Fade in over 10 seconds using texture Dream and color (0.00%, 0.00%, 0.00%) with 0.00% transparency. The problem lies with the last Cinematic action. For some reason, instead of fading in over a long period of time (10 seconds) it comes back into view in an instant! Please help! :( |

I'm not sure there, becuase I usually Use "fade out and back in" for the kind of thing your talking about, but It might be because the filter texture is different... You should use BlackMask, or Dream, for both. That might help. |

^_^ Thank you! I found out what would happen from your post. Apparently (my best guess) is that the fade out fade in feature is in application to one filter only, because there can only be more than one at a time. Since I didn't have the same filter, it wasn't compatible with the "fade out" filter, and thus couldn't fade in the way I wanted it to. Gracias ^_^ |

No prob, and yeah, you have to use the same filter for in and out... |
