does anyone hate aruas that use custom icons of previous spells...

like having an aura that has the holy light icon?? but it seems to much like an ability not an aura?

what i like doing is using the "disabled" version of the icon... it looks more greyer etc. but it looks move like an aura/passive ability..

does anyone agree with me?

I've seen it done, but people who've played Warcraft 3 will recognize that it's a DIS icon and might think that the ability is, in fact, disabled. Furthermore, I don't believe that the DIS icons will themselves have disabled versions, if you pause the game, Sleep the unit, etc.
On the other hand, turning existing icons into PAS icons only takes a tiny amount of effort using image-editing software, and can add as little as 3k to your map. There's even a trick for having all of your added icons use the same existing DIS icon, so you save space on inserting any DIS's.
