My first two custom skins

Hello everybody. I just wanted to show off my first two custom Warcraft III skins. The first one is a guy by the name of Asteron. I made the skin by recoloring Arthas's hair and boots. I also added a goatee by clonebrushing his hair. I didn't know how I could draw in the chest muscles and have them look good, so I drew a quick outline, and following that, I clone brushed his arm to make the muscles. For the pants, I clonebrushed the gloves. I'm still thinking of adding some more details though, so that he doesn't look so much like a recolored arthas with a big man chest and a goatee. I also tried to put a scars in the shape of an X across his chest. Didn't quite work how I wanted though. I'm gonna have to add some ripped flesh around them. Right now they just look like pinkish-purple stirpes of paint on his body.

The second one, is a Corpselord by the name of Thordon. I made his skin from the blood elf. This one, I think turned out much better than Asteron. I'm still working on the cape and the shoulders.. He's basically a black bloodmage with more details added and face paint. The chainmail details on the inside of his legs I made myself. It's not perfect, but it's still pretty good I think.

Any comments? Questions? Suggestions? Constructive Criticism?

they look pretty good but...try to post a closer pic. you can't really see a whole lot. take pics in world editor...

for a closer pic you'll need to get them into vieuwer... why is there no tut on that? someone should make and stick one... its reather important to succesfully show skins.

its good that you said yourself that its cnp, at least, i am assume a clone brush is simulair to cnp ^^.

its a functional cnp thats for sure, nothing spectaculair but functional for a map. the bloodmage is a recolor... its all functional for maps and all, but to receive good credit as a skinner you should try and change some more, change some of the detail on the bloodmages armor and stuff...

anyone can recolor and cnp, i dont really see the point of showing it here sorry.

First, why did you took the screenshot during night? do you think im a owl? please, take them in a viewer or in World editor, right now one of the screenshot is during the night and both are small.
for critisms i should be able to see correctly...i dont even see a chainmail for your corspelord. at first view your arthas was a recolor with a goate...until you gave an explanation. please take an effort to take a good screenshot, and please, not a night, its like taking a brush with 50% opacity with black and cover your entire skin.

2nd one looks cool, but the lines on the face is wierd.

Lines on face make it look gothic like hes crying and his eye liner is running ^_^

It appears I acheived the right affect with the face paint. :) I'll get some better screenies up in a little bit. I didn't realize that it was night when I took them. :(
