The spellbook ability is buggy!

The "spellbook" item ability is very buggy when I try to customize it. Basically what I'm trying to do is have 3 different categories of magic, like Fire, Ice and Earth all based around the spell book ability. In the "fire" spellbook I have 3 spells, and so on each one having 3 spells each. However, when I give those spellbook abilities to heroes when they try to learn them the position of the abilities get all screwed up. Sometimes they don't even show up. Yes, I changed the position of the spells through the editor and yes I changed the max of the abilities in the spellbook.

Is the problem that i have 3 different categories? Should I compact them in all one "spellbook"?

Also, when I use a custom bear form transformation ability it completely erases all abilities trained.

The bear thing. It erases because it creates a completely different unit, and you have to give that unit the abilities in the object editor.

I've never experimented with Spellbook as much as I ought to. I have heard, however, that though spells based on the same root cannot be placed on the same unit, Spellbook is unique. Perhaps it was that there's a way to change what it uses as its root? I would look through the fields and see if there's an option for giving your Spellbooks different unique ID's; otherwise, you're likely running into the base-ability problem.

I like the spell book ability. You can use it as a sub-menu maker, to give more spells to heroes, or use it instead of dialoge buttons. But u need to find out what spells u can add to a spell book ability, and what u cant. Dont add for example phoenix fire, auras, permanent invisibility etc.

As will ALL Other spells you can't have more than one of each type on the same unit.

if you pick up 3 ITEMs with the spellbook effect, and open one of them, all three will be opened. If you give a hero 3 different hero abilities based of the spellbook with different spells each NO WONDER it gets messed-up.
