Return of Fire Maps

I'm not entirely sure this map is really all that good. I would appreciate any insight.

It's the first map used in the second half of my campaign.

After Map 6 the campaign becomes Expansion Orc Style rather than linear style.

THE BLACK MORASS

Ok as you can see the water is green.
Originally I wanted to have the water cause damage but I could not put together the proper combination of triggers.

The object is to go to the other end of the map, and exit out the pass.
In the future this map will be linked to blackrock spire and "The Road To Stormwind".

Im just curious as to whether this is a good map or not.

It doesn't work. I downloaded it, tried to load it in-game and it wasn't there. I tried loading it in the editor and there was an error straight away, didn't even bother loading anything.

Youve got to be fuggin kidding me...........

Ok while I was trying to get screenshots to post here I realized the problem....

It was using campaign object data, and without that it becomes impossible to use standalone.

Problem fixed here it is again i apologize

I'd post the whole campaign but its 5 megabytes.

Okay, works now.

Not a bad job, but a few minor quirks.

- The level isn't actually completable, there's no end trigger to complete the mission.
- Luthien is invisible. Being a ninja, that's okay, but invisible to the player too? The only way I could select her was by clicking on her portrait in the top left corner, and if I wanted to select the whole group, I had to shift and click her portrait. Very annoying. Is her skin missing by any chance? Did you forget to put it in the level?
- Your terrain is kind of bare. You've put a lot of trees and creeps in there, with the occasional river, but not much else. It's not really much to look at.

Well that's pretty much it. Your heroes need a little work, especially on their skills, but not a bad job. Just needs touching up somewhat. Good luck!

well its unfinished thats the reason it doent terminate.

Which skills need work the most?

You may have noticed a problem in Yuge Onedai's ultimate skill. No graphics right?

I cant get the bloody thing to work.
Im going to change it to "Super Sonic Yell" which if you used it you would notice that he just screams and enemies take damage.

As for Luthien:
Deh?
All I use is the normal Ranger model for her.
Maybe that fact shes a skinned hero.
She isnt normally invisible.

Morass is a transitional map. Eventually it wil link "The road to Stormwind" (hub/sidequest destination/transitional) and blackrock spire (boss fight and eventually sidequest destination)

You didnt find Zul'Jin's secret stash?
dont worry the final version will have tons of secrets.

If only I could get the bloody omni directional campaign thingy to work...
It changes maps but the heroes dont transfer.

LINEAR campaign works gret though.

Yes, I found the secret stash. The cinematic was done well, but there was only one camera angle. For a dynamic cinematic, you need multiple camera angles, maybe even some close-ups. I know this isn't finished yet, which is why I'm pointing these things out to you. That's what you wanted right?

Luthien was definately invisible and unselectable by normal means. Her hero icon was Elven Ranger (Or Sylvanas, can't remember).

I did try Yuge's ultimate skill, but like you said, he didn't seem to do much. I noticed the surrounding enemies were getting hurt though.

Which brings me to one major issue, your heroes are incredibly powerful, it made most of the level a breeze. I'd suggest you either tone them down or put in harder enemies.

I can help you with that, assuming all you need is game caches to work. I had a little struggle with them back when I needed it for my campaign. It's easy when you know how.
