Hesperidies Warrior

Aggh, i did it again, another blizzard style skin! Dont eat me!!!

Anyway, as you can see its an edited model as well, theres a nice story behind the skin and it can also be applied to the Demoness model if you want a land version. CnC anyone?

The Hesperidies Warrior's spawn from the Great Hesperidies Tree, a massive ancient beast that is far older than even the massive World Tree. Gnarled and darkened by millennia of storms and combat, the Hesperidies Tree now resides far in the south of Kalimdor, deep within the Blindsight Forest. The Forest is well known as a haunted and evil place, as Nightelves who entered there rarely, if ever returned. Those few who did spoke of horrors beyond imagining, Elves like themselves, eyes glowing blue and flying on wings of Leaves. These Warrioresses killed or captured all that entered and appeared to be able to vanish into thin air if attacked. The Hesperidies tree has existed since the world of Azeroth began, its ancient form has grown a type of Sentiance. The Hesperidies Warriors are its response to the Invasion of the Burning Legion. Now finally the Warriors have emerged from their protective forest to serve the Night Elves again and to help them rebuild their lost home. The Tree has cloaked itself and its forest under many thousands of binding and hiding spells, anyone who attempts to find it will be lost within seconds. Even the Warriors cannot return to their Mother, as it is possible the tree meant it to be. What happened to the Hesperidies tree? Who knows, it is still in its forest, but nobody knows exactly where that is. The Warriors still fight for the Night Elves, providing exellent scouting and hunting. They hurl all kinds of strange magics from the air at Foes, changing them to stone or searing away their very soul.

Once again i spent many painstaking hours trying to get Blizzards design and feel to the skin, in particular the leaves (stupid wrapping issues) before realising i could just CnP the leaves from my Ancient Protector skin, this sort of pissed me off ^_^.

I dont know man I mean its a nice skin and you got good techniques but it lacks something eyecatching ( put daisies in the leaves ^_^ )

you just edit it in the same minute you posted it or within about 3 - 4 minutes.

verrry cool idea... verry.

the leaves could use some more diversity though, its a little plain. maybe add a flower here and there or something. the flesh along the edges of the leaves need a little more shading to create a more defined border.

Yeah, I'd add some detail and diversity to the wings, but the other parts look great!

Anyway, i'll just point out that its not Flesh that the wings are on, its suppost to be a wooden frame of sticks.

Nice background story - did you write that?
The only problem I have is with the legs; They just don't really look like their covered in leaves, just green blobs. Maybe trying giving the texture more contrast and a more pronounced outline.

yeah, i wrote that. Stupid armor, she wasnt suppost to have as many leaves as she does, but the damn boots and gauntlets look screwy if i try to make them into flesh :(

Wow! Good skin. But yeah, it is a little plain though. But still, really good.
BTW, Phoenix, where are those bouncing girls from? I've seen them in people's sigs and avatars on other forums, so I'm a little curious.
