I was wondering if it was possible to modify the size of special effect in proportion to the unit it's attached to, or if I attach it by using an ability with only the special effect art on it, is it possible to modfy its size then? I'm asking this because I'm trying to get a child model with a halo, and I did so by using white selection circle overhead. The problem is, it's a bit too big, which takes away the feel of the halo and makes it look like a flying hoolahoop above his head. |

lol, I've been wondering how to do this myself too. Waiting for the answer ;) |

the size of special effects cannot be modified, to my knowledge. The best and only way to do this I know of is to use a unit with the special effect model, because the unit can be scaled. However, for the fying halo, you would have to move the flying small-circle unit constantly to the position of the child, which means a periodic trigger that runs often enough for the player not to notice the instant moves, something like 25 times per second. In such a case, make sure you get rid of memory leaks, because if you don't, there's going to be a whole lot of them. An alternative way would be to get a custom model for the halo that would be exactly the right size. |

Thanks, I think I'll go with the custom halo model. A circle outline blp wont hurt my map size too much. Also, would anyone happen to know if there are horns in special effect attachments, I need to put horns on another kid, and maybe that fork thing devil carries in his hand. |

You would need to model that stuff ^_^ The horns you can take from some touren or something (I dont know onything about moddelin tho) |
