I need an AI/JASS programmer for an Idea I wish to test and if it works submit to blizzard so it can be "officially" put in game. The idea is as follows: when a unit moves any units under your control in a certain range will also move. thus if all your units were together you could send one to attack an enemy and they all would, as each one would set off the same trigger in their own range causing a chain reaction. But what happens if you don't want a particular group of units to go, say your peasents (wisps, acolytes....) in an options box you can check off which units will go so only the checked ones will be affected. If its a mixed group like a few footman and riflemen but you want the rest of the rifleman and footman to go then you have to stop it manually. Lastly you get one final control, you can set position order from 1 - 10 units lower on the scale (1,2,3,...) would be first in line and would try to arrange themseleves in front of a unit of a higher priority. This is useful to put your melee in first and sige last for instance. ask questions for anything i didn't cover and once again I need an experienced AI/JASS programmer because if it is possible (in JASS i know blizzard could do it in C++) it will be difficult. because I do know how to program I should be able to help with algorrithms and could design psuedo C++ code for it if needed. |
