The Tolkien Legacy Needs Help!

A friend and I are working on a campaign set in the world of Middle-Earth. The campaign will cover from the Last Alliance to the destruction of the Ring. The Tolkien Legacy offers tons of mods to the original Warcraft III. I won't reveal anything here, but if you apply I'll give you the low down. The campaign, in whole, will feature over 20 maps and ~10 cinematic maps. You'll get to play as a variety of heroes, including Isuldur, Elrond, Bilbo, Aragorn, Arwen, Eowyn, Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin, Gollum, Dori, Ori, Nori, Bifur, Bofur, Bombur, Balin, and Dwalin. These are just some of the heroes, which proves how amazingly epic this campaign will be. We are seeking a dedicated skinner and/or modeller that would care to offer their time to our cause. We are also needing a secondary terrainer and/or mapper. If you are interested in such a position, read below:

You can PM DeSty or me (Jarin, Wc3sear.ch) with your inquiry. Though e-mail is preferred, you can contact us on MSN messenger as well. I use [email protected] and DeSty uses [email protected]. Thanks.

Everything from plant doodads to houses. If you're not extremely experienced, then I'll let you have the simple things. I can leave the units to those that can do them. If you're serious about helping, contact me on MSN Messenger please. ([email protected])

Just a suggestion, but I don't think 69 is the best number to have in your name...

It's been done before, and has failed. Maybe setting your ambition a little more.. I dunno, realistic?

People tend to not finish campaigns like this when the premise includes "20 maps and 10 cinimatics". I mean come on, that's a lot of uneeded work.

I admire you're ambition but sometimes you need to aim a little lower.

Its been done before, yes but not by the same persons. Different story. We are moving on quite well and are planning on a demo release.

We will first finish the first set of campaigns, everything pre-LOTR, which is about 10 maps, if thats done we'll move on to LOTR. I suppose it will take 3-4 months but it'll be done in the end.

No one ever said ambition is fate, did they? I can be as ambitious as I like, and I can still guarantee this campaign will make it further than others. Just wait, I'll prove you wrong.

Now this, sir, is ambition in its finest form. The Falls of Rauros do look spectacular, no? Now you may take your pitying advice elsewhere, it is not needed in this place.

Yes, that's gonna be nice. We finally got a skinner, we only need a modeler now, but it's in good progress. The first maps terrain is 60% done and a lot of the game workings and features are done.

You will see everything in the demo pretty soon.

I'd be happy to help with terrain. And the rauros falls looks good. But as someone said, it would be about 20 times as large ^_^

Well, you can contact me on MSN : [email protected]
