A peasant comes home from work to find his wife dead… Overview: This was my contest entry for the official Blizzard cinematic contest. The theme was "Vengeance" and it had to include a battle scene. Unfortunately my "battle scene" wasn’t quite what the Blizzard judges were after; and as such Retribution was disqualified from the contest. Nevertheless this short cinematic has some very nice terrain and lightning effects. Hope you enjoy it, even though it didn’t make it into the top three! Screenshots: Download: Retribution.zip (Runtime: 5 min) This will be my last work with Warcraft III cinematics. It's been a hell of a ride! - Zurg |

Great. Better than CotD in some ways, yet lacking some story :) imo. Approved, one of the best ive seen. |

It's a shame it got disqualified, a very nice cinematic for such a small ammount of time. |

I love your atmospheres, sad to see this will be your last work in Wacraft III. I wish you luck in wherever your cinematogrpahy skills take you. |

i was angry at blizzard cus ur cinematic didnt get the first price. Damn it was the best (story wise). Spirit of vengeance had nice battle scenes, but the story plot was not solid |

Too bad the contest was to make a battle... if it was about story or drama this wouldve won, but then again there wouldve been other cinematics. |

Im a little confused so was it his brother who killed his wife or was his brother inocent? |

Thats beside the point, it was suppose to show how he took the law into his own hands when he shouldn't have, he ended doing the same thing then the other guy did: Killing. Which makes him no better |
