First, I would like to say if this is in the wrong forum, sorry. I had no idea where this really fits in. Also if this has been answered I couldn't find it. Any ways i am wondering if it is possible, and if so how to change the human's game cursor to like the normal move command cursor. Secondly if possible, change it so its always the red one, and not teal when your targeting a point instead of a unit. I want to do this because there is alot of fog on my map because i want players to be able to hide, and if you move your cursor over a unit it within the units field of vison, but still in the heavy fog, it changes color. So I would like to make it always the same cursor. Thanks for any help. |

If you hold down ALT, it will show the lifebar above your unit. Not sure you can do much about that. |

Ya I knew about that. I havent tested my map on bnet, but i changed the selection circle to nothing on each unit, and during single player ithe lifebar was not showing up if you pressed alt. If anyone has tested this though on bnet and it still shows up it be nice if you could tell me. I don't wana play a map on bnet though thats not even 15% done. Thanks for noticing that though. |

I think the cursor is under the UI, and I think you can change those under Advanced. |

Ok, this is how you edit the cursor. Go into winMPQ and locate UI\Cursor\HumanCursor.MDX and UI\Cursor\HumanCursor.blp Extract it and open file converter and convert the mdx to an mdl. open the mdl in word or notepad and find the line that says "UI\Cursors\HumanCursor.blp" Change it to something like "Textures\HumanCursor.blp" and then convert the mdl back to an mdx Change the blp to a tga and open up photoshop. Edit the cursors how you like then erase all the black so a box doesnt appear around the cursor ingame. Save cursor and convert to a blp Import both the mdx and blp into your map go to advanced\game interface and locate "cursor" Change the model to your MDX and that's how it works. But if you want it to stop flashing red i would suggest making it completely black, and if that doesnt work just get rid of the cursor and use the arrow keys as movement :-p |
