Hey guys, I havent posted in about 2 months, Ive been out of town. I went to the Conceptart.org Massive Black workshop in Austin and it was amazing. I met some really great painters like John Mueller and William Whittaker. Here is the first drawing i have done after the workshop: ![]() And, as a reference for improvement here is some pre-workshop stuff: ![]() ![]() What do you guys think? |

Very... very nice. I see a massive improvement... now hopefully that will translate into more art. Oh... and for some reason... this forum has the default of showing threads only 1 month back... I'll try to get that changed. Just remember to change that if you are looking for something and can't find it. Like your gallery. icbm1987 |

Thanks icbm, ill start another gallery ;) I havent posted because ive been in germany with no internet access. sry. and no, like a little bitch, feng zhu backed out the day before the workshop started for some better job. I guess his fellow artists just arent important or good enough for him to even let them know a little sooner. they had someone fill in at the last minute. |

Quote:
yes, it is a modern skull, but it is female. the skull was probably prepared in the 60's. |

and the eyehole in the 3rd skull appears a bit small for me.. and are you really buddhist? that'd be great! |

Everyone's skull is shaped differently, however, there are some (general) characteristics that distinguish them aparts. Namely the cheek bones and the jaw line. I man's jaw tends to jut out in a sharper manner and his cheek bones are much different. If I'm wrong correct me, BhuddistMonk. |

close, data. the brow region and jaw/chin are much bigger on a male, and stick out farther compared to a female. the cheekbones are slightly more obvious on a normal male. as you can see the female, while still not very attractive, has much more graceful features than the male, whos bone structure isnt quite as ambigious. ![]() hope this helped! im not really buddhist, this is just my misspelled screen name. |
