Looks great, i've always loved DK, both 1 and 2, so i'm looking forward to this one. How are you planning to do the "Creature summoning" process? It's rather sophisticated in Dungeon Keeper 2 :) |

Still I want to make it that the units controll themself in means by eating and sleeping and such things. So far I've made the "controll ground basics" where the imps take controll of each tile of the map. So you can build your rooms there when they're done. I've made the lair and the basic function it will have in the game, that whenever a new unit enters it they will create there "lair building" like in real DK, and then they will go and sleep when they start getting tired. ( if they don't get enough sleep they will randomly start sleeping in there position, not quite good if ur attacking the other dungeon). I've also made the treasury room, it's not quite done, I have'nt made a function that stores gold in every tile of the treasury, though I've made it so that if ur treasury is full you cant mine more gold. I've only made one unit yet, the goblin. ( have'nt made stats, models and so) just the basic function for a goblin unit. Like when you have gotten a portal, and you have a lair with the size of 9 tiles in a 3*3 room you can get 5 goblins, they will spawn quite randomly , I've made a function that the more goblins you have the less chance is there to get one every time the "spawn new monster trigger" is run. If u got a 25 tile room, ( 5*5 lair, the trigger checks so u realy have them in a square and not a piece of room here and there ). then you wil be able to get 7 goblins. Then when more monsters is done, triggers will check so u have all the rooms and size necessery to spawn that particular monster. Ofcourse, this is'nt as advanced as the real DK, but it would be nearly impossible to do it more advance then this. The map is already quite trigger heavy and I'm like in pre alpha 0.1 or something but I hope to get the basics done, lair, hatchery , training room, library a few DK spells and a few units so I can make a beta test. |

Looks nice, but you really ougtta randomize the rocks and get rid if the hero icons. |

Hmmmm i alrady saw a DK map (a preatty good one btw). It was made in RoC I wander how would the DK map be in TFT. Good luck ![]() |

Looks great. Is there going to be a dungeon heart? It would be cool to see a doodad that is glowing in a map for once ;) |
