WT EXE 6: In The Shadows

this weeks exesise is inside a mounatin or cave
how you interpret this is up to you. but a few idea that come to my mind are:
a spider cave
temple under a mountain
mines
mines of moria
or just a general underground terrain

Sounds interesting. I'll definitely give it a try as I am trying to get into terraining alot more now because it interests me more than ever. Plus it's currently my weakness when it comes to mapping and I've been using other people to do my terrain for me. I'll think of some sort of creature cave or dwarf mine.

I've just made a mountain temple... i'l post that and then i'm also gonna try something else... gitlich knows what...

Well heres my entry...

This cave was once home to the grand Dwarves, but soon the corruption of these caves started to set in. The spiders, seeing an oppertunity, attacked and destroyed all that was left of the civilization... leaving only small ruins.

is that the outland dirt cliff with water??? if so could you tell me how to do it. id like to have a go at WT5 even though its over, i never got got round to it in the end

Ummm... I dont really get what you mean... but what i did was i put the dirt cliff around the border (leaving the center low) and then put a river down the center. Nothing special :\

perhaps its a WEU bug, but i get a massive gapeing abyss when i try to do that, oh well, i found a way around it now

i have found something interesting though. try putting outland dirt next to barrens dirt, and watch what happens

i think youre suposed to see water like you are, but i got some black hole onstead. not like a buggy hold, as in had edges like a cliff, and black smoke comeing out of it. i was told it was because there is no water on outland
